Delighted to announce that three baby cacti arrived safe and sound to Istanbul for my wonderful friend, my brother Murat and his wife, Nevin. She made these gorgeous pots herself. Aren’t they magnificent!?
I was delighted today to be asked to repot Rose’s cactus and her three babies from 10/6/4. I have to say that not only is this the best conditioned cactus I’ve ever seen but Rose and her husband Vic are beautiful, lovely, warm human beings who are a joy to meet. To be connected to such fabulous people reminds and reinforces why I do this. And thank you Ceri for the introduction.

Left two cacti at the magnificent Yorkshire Sculpture Park last week. One on a Sean Henry statue and one on Damien Hirst’s ‘Charity’. The first one has been found by Northern musician Josef who got in touch via Instagram.

Lynsey nipped into the Cynnal Cymru offices to rescue her cactus and bring it home earlier this week. Reminder to us all that cacti DO need water!
Eight little cacti arrived safely in the post and it’s the start of a little cacti collection for Erin and Harvey.
First of my cacti to flower this year. I was pipped by Our Kid’s on St George’s Day, 23rd April, Carole’s on 24th April and then Ceri’s on May 2nd. Always a joy.
Left a box of 20 little babies at 9am in the local Community bus shelter - if you have claimed one, please message me to let me know it’s safe and sound. Just a small gesture to put a smile on people’s faces at this difficult time for us all.

November 2015 The McNeils' massive 3/13 Danny Kelly was knocked over with a powerful gust of wind. He snapped clean in half. The good news is that he was rescuable and he lives on......
